The instructor for our classes is Sensei Paige Arthur. Paige’s martial arts journey began in 2018 when she began practicing Ju-Jitsu under the World Ju-Jitsu Federation instructor Shihan John Glimmerveen. After Shihan Glimmerveen’s retirement, she was looking for a new dojo in the Midway area to continue her martial arts journey. In March 2021, Senpai Justin McClarran opened Midway Karate and Sensei Paige found herself volunteering to assist in the instruction of the younger students. After relocating the dojo to the Liberty County Community Complex in Midway, GA, and rebranding as U.S. Yoshukai Karate of Georgia, Sensei McClarran continued to train Sensei Arthur and fine-tune her instructor skills. With the blessing of the national association and Sensei McClarran, Sensei Arthur began to take on more teaching responsibility to include all ages (4 through adult). She soon found her love of teaching and love for the practice of martial arts led her to pursue a position as Primary Instructor. Sensei Arthur earned her Shodan (1st Dan) Black Belt in 2024 and continues to inspire students of all ages to push ahead and never give up.

Sensei Arthur and the USYKA of Georgia dojo are avid competitors in local and distant tournament Circuits where they have taken top honors in kata, weapon, and kumite. Most recently, USYKA of Georgia has participated in tournaments as close as Brunswick and St. Mary’s GA and as far as Tampa, FL and KY. Sensei Arthur’s passion is to inspire students to be all they can be through the benefits that U.S. Yoshukai Karate has to offer both in the dojo and in life.
